Talented Girls in Action is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, located in Charlotte NC. Our goal is to uplift and support girls living in low-income areas. We believe investing in women and girls creates long-term social and economic benefits for all individuals. That is why TGIA’s after-school program empowers girls to invest in their futures.

When girls are educated and empowered, they have better opportunities for employment, higher incomes, and improved overall well-being. This, in turn, positively impacts their families, communities, and future generations.
Our investment
Studies show that women reinvest up to 90 percent of their incomes back into their families whereas men reinvest 30-40 percent. Investing in women and girls creates long-term social and economic benefits for all individuals.
Our Support
TGIA creates safe spaces where girls can gather, share experiences, and support each other. We foster a sense of belonging, resilience, and sisterhood among girls, providing them with emotional support, mentorship, and positive role models. This helps combat isolation and strengthens girls' sense of self-worth.
