CEO & Board Chair
A native to North Carolina, LaChish fell in love with education as a teenager and quickly developed a deep passion for childcare. At age 15, she began to create a business plan in the hopes of establishing her own daycare someday. LaChish’s desire to educate and motivate children stuck with her through college, leading her to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Queens University of Charlotte. Lachish has been apart of Charlotte Mecklenburg School System for four years. During her teaching career, she’s had the chance to connect with young girls learning their needs and dreams. In being witness to their troubles, she decided she had to act, thus she founded Talented Girls In Action (TGIA). Lachish dedicates a great deal of her time to serving in the community and on the TGIA Board of Directors. She is active in her church and in her spare time gets in a good run. LaChish enjoys spending time at home with her husband Josh and beautiful dog, Trinity.

I wanted to a part of TGIA because my heart has always been with supporting women and girls. Investing in and supporting girls realizes incredible gains to families, communities and future generations. I also embrace TGIA's whole child approach that, while focusing on education, also addresses strengthening emotional, creative and physical well being. I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the ladies within the TGIA organization!
