Talented Girls in Action
TGIA empowers girls to be agents of change by providing academic support and career readiness development in underprivileged communities. TGIA is a program that not only invests in girls' education but also gives them strategic tools to invest in themselves.
Talented Girls in Action is innovative because we combined academic tutoring, career development, mentoring, STEM opportunities as well as a character development curriculum. We provide a safe space for our girls to communicate their academic challenges and receive individualized help whether it is in math, reading, writing or science. We also focus on experiential learning opportunities where our girls can participate in STEM programs as well as professional development. We serve girls from different demographics as well as ethnicities. We are targeting girls that come from low socioeconomic backgrounds who have not been afforded the same resources that many affluent families have access too.
At TGIA we are intensely focused on the development of a positive outlook and wholesome self-image. This allows the girls to openly discuss their problems in a safe and caring environment where constructive and viable solutions are provided.

Our Purpose
Talented Girls in Action purpose is to encourage, empower, and enable young women to live confidently and victoriously in every aspect of their lives. By providing platforms for girls to develop leadership skills, self-confidence, and a sense of agency, we empower girls to become change-makers in their communities and beyond. We foster a generation of girls who challenge stereotypes, advocate for their rights, and drive social, economic, and political change.
